I am diabetic but have knee surgery scheduled. I was one point away from my A1C goal to do surgery. While I was upset at myself, Dillon explained why it was so crucial for healing and to help keep infection away. He helped by going ahead with an injection in the other knee to help with some pain and was encouraging about meeting my goals. I appreciated his honesty and encouragement, especially when I wanted to cry. I also appreciate someone who won’t just “go ahead with surgery” and put my health at risk.
