Chrystal Byrd, P.A.-C.

Chrystal graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree followed by her Master of Science in Medicine and Physician Assistant Studies degree from Western Michiga University. Chrystal’s passion to work in orthopaedics began when she was 18 years old which is when she first stepped foot into an operating room to assist on a total joint replacement.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Chrystal was a certified surgical technologist assisting in multiple specialties including orthopaedics for 16 years, along with a 7-year career as an instructor for a surgical technology program in Jackson, Michigan.

Since obtaining her master’s degree as a physician assistant, Chrystal worked in vascular surgery and urgent care. Chrystal’s main focus and passion is to provide quality medical care to each individual patient so they can reach their fullest potential in their daily living activities.

In her spare time, Chrystal loves spending time with her three boys, being outdoors, hiking, running, and kayaking.
