Dr. Brian Tonne was my trauma surgeon in the trauma bay at University of Tennessee Medical Center back in June of 2016. I had a unusual accident that left me in a wheelchair and not able to walk for a couple of months. My right knee was pretty bad and Dr. Tonne completely put it back together with a metal plate and 20 screws. He completely reconstructed my right femur at the bend of the knee. That was only 10 months ago. I am now able to bend my knee with complete full range of motion and I dont limp. I walk and I am in the gym on the elliptical and using weights to keep strength. He did an amazing job on my scars as well. I am blessed and very thankful for Dr. Brain Tonne and his team. “Thanks to my care at UOS, I can…In Feb. 2015 my 17 year old sustained a severely broken leg when his ATV hit a car head on. Due to the road conditions we took him to the nearest hospital where his initial surgery was done. After 3 months he was showing no signs of healing and still not able to walk. A friend advised we see Dr. Tonne. He immediately did a series of blood test to determine the delay in healing and found he had a staf infection from the previous care. Approximately 1 1/2 weeks later, Dr. Tonne completed the necessary bone graph and several weeks of antibiotic for the infection.
Dr. Tonne and his team are amazing! They have a heart for their patients and you feel you are important them.
